The Kobudo taught at the Ryuhokan is called Ryuho Bukijutsu. It is a combination of material from Okinawan Kobudo, Ryueiryu, Kojoryu, and Chinese weaponry. A large part of the study is in classical Chinese battlefield tactics from both the ground and mounted aspects. Our bukijutsu course is more than just doing kata, we also participate in annual kobudo kumite events held in Okinawa.
