Ryuhoryu Kenpo was founded by Scot Mertz in 2005 as a way to explore other aspects of Naha-te. Many of the kata found in Ryuhoryu come from Gojuryu and it's sister styles like Ryueiryu. Aspects of older Ryukyuan martial arts have also been incorporated into the curriculum and overall study. If you have experience in Gojuryu, Ryuhoryu is the next step in the same evolution.
